BIO
Lucas McCaffrey is a music producer/composer/engineer currently based in Las Vegas. Drawing influences primarily from electronic music, industrial metal, and post-rock, he creates an auditory reflection of human imagination and experience, aiming to bring listeners on a journey of intense rhythms, dreamy soundscapes, and dynamic song structures.

While first exploring electronic methods of music creation as a preteen, McCaffrey played drums in several local rock bands during his time in high school in the Washington, D.C. metro area. In order to expand his musical background, he also enrolled in various percussion ensembles at school and attended a summer program at the Berklee College of Music, formally strengthening his sense of musicianship and music theory.
After relocating to the Nashville metro area to study audio and video production at Middle Tennessee State University, he developed an affinity for film, TV and video game soundtracks, largely inspired by their ability to place listeners in a unique sonic universe while also supplementing a narrative. He began to experiment with a variety of textures in his music, fusing his contemporary background with elements of orchestral and ethnic instruments. Destroying genre boundaries, he began producing music under the moniker Mannen (later renamed to Monomythic) and business identity Invisible Labyrinth Productions in his final semester of college at the end of 2019.

At the beginning of 2020 amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, McCaffrey took the Internet by storm with his Bring Me the Horizon medleys, compiling several songs of the critically acclaimed rock outfit into his own unique adaptions. He continued to run his own YouTube channel transforming the works of his favorite musicians, as he now also develops new original material. Having recently finished a North American tour as a sound engineer with Blue Man Group, he hopes to broaden the musical tastes of electronic music and metal fans by creating a distinct atmosphere and sense of energy with plans to bring his vision to the stage and other forms of entertainment in the near future.
